General Hospital Spoilers: Cody Puts On A Show To Convince Dr. Brooks To Commit Him

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will put on quite a show in order to convince Dr. Brooks (Michael Bell) to commit him to Ferncliff. After much ado, Cody had finally convinced Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) to attempt a judicial commitment so he can try to help and protect Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) from the inside.

General Hospital Spoilers – More Than A Forty-Eight Hour Psych Hold

Cody knows it’s likely going to take more than a forty-eight hour psych hold to be able to do anything effective to help Sasha.

So he intends to put on quite a show to convince Brooks, likely the intake doctor at Ferncliff, to commit him for an indefinite period of time.

Cody can only hope that Brooks doesn’t answer to Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) since the visiting psychiatrist seems to be running the whole show at Ferncliff.

Cody knows the risk he’s taking by having himself committed for an indefinite period of time-the same thing that is happening to Sasha could very well happen to him.

Cody’s going to have to be in full con man mode to out con the con that is playing doctor in the person of Montague at Ferncliff!

GH Spoilers – Corruption Bigtime, How Can A Visiting Psychiatrist Just Take Over?

It’s unfathomable the corruption that has to be taking place within the walls of Ferncliff, now a mental health facility for the criminally insane.

Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) had gotten it cleaned out and made improvements after his late twin Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) reign of terror, in which he murdered many.

Kevin himself had been held captive and drugged, after Ryan switched places and it was months before he was rJohnescued; but it seems a megalomaniac visiting psychiatrist has taken over.

Montague is not far from Ryan in his megalomania, taking completely over and running the place, making medical bad decisions for Kevin’s patients there.

But that will be a job for Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Kevin when he returns, to fix-Cody’s job, if Brooks isn’t answering to Montague, will be to rescue Sasha.

General Hospital Spoilers – First, To Fool Dr. Brooks

Outconning a con is one thing, but fooling a psychiatrist is another-and Cody puts on quite the show in order to get himself committed to Ferncliff indefinitely.

Mac and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) pledge to help Sam get Cody committed, like an undercover patient, and testify at any hearing that’s set up.

Usually there is a forty-eight hour psych hold first in which the prospective patient is evaluated, and a hearing takes place where any evidence is presented.

But Montague and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) seemed to have bypassed the usual steps, getting Sasha committed to Ferncliff for an indefinite, open-ended time.

If Cody’s efforts are successful and the impending sting at Ferncliff Mac and Dante are planning works, many heads will roll!
