General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Needs Money – Will She Inherit Kelly’s?

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is in big trouble on General Hospital. Her boyfriend Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) took the fall for the insider trading charges, but she is not getting off scot-free.

Carly’s attorney, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) informed her that she needs to pay a $5 million fine, which will wipe out her savings. She has plenty of family members who would be willing to help her out, including her children and ex-husband, but she doesn’t want to take their money.

Drew offered to help her with funds, but he has really done enough for her already. Plus, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) would not be pleased if he gave their daughter’s inheritance to the girlfriend he is going to prison for.

General Hospital Spoilers – Jacklyn Zeman’s Death Will Be Played Out On General Hospital

Actress Jacklyn Zeman, who portrayed Bobbie Spencer for decades on General Hospital, sadly passed away recently. Jacklyn and Bobbie will both be missed by the GH family and fans.

Bobbie’s death will be written into the storyline, which will be a sad day for all. The character was Carly’s mom so it will affect her in more ways than one. Mother and daughter didn’t start out on the right foot when Carly came to Port Charles but have since formed an unbreakable bond. She will be heartbroken over the loss.

GH Spoilers – What Will Happen To Kelly’s Diner On General Hospital?

Kelly’s Diner is a landmark in Port Charles. It was founded by Paddy and Rose Kelly. After Paddy’s death, Rose sold the diner to Ruby Anderson (Norma Connolly).

Ruby was loved by all. Everyone came to Kelly’s for the chili, apple pie, and advice.

Many residents of Port Charles either worked at the diner or lived in the rooms upstairs at one time.

Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and his sister Bobbie were her niece and nephew and they adored their Aunt Ruby. When she passed away in 1999, she left them her beloved diner.

Luke is now presumed dead, and now that Bobbie has passed, who will run the legendary diner?

Everything Bobbie had will probably be passed down to her two remaining children, Carly and Lucas Jones. This should include Kelly’s.

The diner may come at the perfect time for Carly, who has found herself in an unfortunate financial situation. Not only can it be a source of income, but it would also give her a purpose and something to focus on. Kelly’s will keep her busy, make money, and keep her mind off Drew being stuck in Pentonville.

While it’s not as glamorous as being the owner of the Metro Court Hotel, running the restaurant there gave her the experience she needs to now run Kelly’s. It’s a good fit.

One day soon we may see Carly Spencer standing behind the counter at Kelly’s just like her Great Aunt Ruby. Can you picture it?
