General Hospital spoilers tease Carly Spencer (Laura Spencer) won’t hold strong to her promise to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) that there would be no more lies between them. That was Drew’s only stipulation when he agreed to see where things went with their relationship and give it one more try.

Carly is always scheming, always lying, always keeping a secret, and usually leveraging someone’s secret, too. Carly’s big secret was far from a minor infraction. It left quite a stain on her relationship with Drew and she’s likely to feel like she’s still trying to earn his respect back for some time. It’s going to take time for him to really feel that comfortable with her again, understandably.

Some fans might argue that Drew let Carly off the hook entirely too easily. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) would agree, and she has said as much to Drew. She can’t believe he would be willing to overlook Carly’s active attempts to sabotage his efforts that would have reunited Nina and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) as mother and daughter. This is especially damning since Drew has been through a similar search for his family and knows how important the Quartermaines are to him. Will he end up regretting ever giving Carly that second chance? The rumor mill says yes.

Carly and Drew might have their own insider trading secret keeping them trauma bonded right now, but nothing can compete with the trauma bonds she shares with her ex-hubby, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). When push comes to shove and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) attempts to take Sonny down, it may be Carly who has to step in to have Sonny’s back.

In the process, she will have to remain tight-lipped about things that only she and Sonny know about, and it’s going to drive a wedge between her and Drew when he expects transparency.
