General Hospital Spoilers: Can Spencer Cassadine Break The Generational Curse Of Toxicity?

General Hospital: Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) inheritance from Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) might mess with his mind. After all, his uncle gave him a mysterious white box during his will reading, with the hope that he’ll “safeguard” the Cassadine family’s future. Spence will likely get to the bottom of the true meaning of all this, but can he also break the generational curse of toxicity that has plagued the family for decades?

General Hospital Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Has An Uphill Battle

GH spoilers suggest that Spence will enter a new storyline when he tries to figure out what Victor left behind for him. With that being said, there are very few positive Cassadine influences in his life.

Victor was an outright villain, as well as his great-grandmother Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). While his dad Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) walked a fine line between “good” and “evil” throughout his life, he barreled down the “bad guy” rabbit hole at high speeds recently when he not only slept with Spencer’s girlfriend Esme Prince (Avery Pohl), but got her pregnant, and then held her hostage at Wyndemere.

Spencer has a good heart. The way he’s embraced being a big brother to Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) is proof of that.

He wasn’t jealous when he found out he was having a sibling, he was fiercely protective, and watching him swoon over the little guy is sweet.

With that said, he’s made some terrible mistakes in the past and could easily follow his father’s path in adulthood; someone who “tries” to do right, but always falls back into doing wrong.

GH Spoilers – The Good News Is That Spence Does See A Way Out

Whatever Spence is supposed to “safeguard” he may end up destroying in an attempt to stop the toxic and controlling ways of the Cassadines. Spence has seen others in the family move on and find peace in life. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is one fine example; another is Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Ms. Davis’s girls have little to do with family drama, and Charlotte Cassadine (AnaSofia Bianchi) is growing up to be a stellar young lady, as Valentin has worked so hard to be a good role model.

Can Spence break the toxic cycle in the Cassadines? Can he, Charlotte, and Ace create a new legacy for the family? Comment, below.
