General Hospital Spoilers: Cameron Webber Returns To Port Charles

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will be returning to Port Charles very soon.

We all remember that Cameron left home to attend Stanford University on a soccer scholarship. Just like his character, Lipton is also taking some time for college and playing with his band.

Cam’s breakup with longtime girlfriend, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) helped cement his decision to leave for California. Mom Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) recently shared with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) how she misses her oldest son.

It looks like it’s time for a visit.

General Hospital Spoilers  – Cameron Comes Home To Help Carly Spencer

When he left GH, William Lipton told Soap Opera Digest that his departure wouldn’t be permanent. It was always thought that he would pop in from time to time.

It looks like his first return is this summer.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) just became the new owner of Kelly’s Diner. She purchased the Port Charles staple from her mom, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) for one dollar.

Carly has experience running an upscale hotel so running a restaurant isn’t foreign to her. But Kelly’s isn’t exactly the Metro Court. She doesn’t know the ins and outs of a busy diner.

When the new owner needs help, she calls on Kelly’s favorite ex-employee, Cameron. Liz’s son worked at and pretty much ran the place for years. He is the perfect guy to help Carly. Plus, Stanford is on summer break so he can easily get home, visit his family, and teach Carly to run the diner.

GH Spoilers – Will Josslyn Be OK With Cameron Coming To Her Mom’s Rescue?

Joss ended her relationship with Cam because she fell out of love with him, and was falling for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Cameron was heartbroken and angry but the two became civil before he left.

Since her ex has been gone, she and Dex have gotten very serious. How will she feel about her mom bringing Cameron back home to help her?

Joss would do anything for Carly, especially now that her mom is in dire straits. She has no ill feelings toward Cam, so she will probably be happy to see him back in Port Charles.

But will Cameron be happy to see her?

Cam’s family will welcome him with open arms, especially his mom. He was her rock for a while.

His friends will also be thrilled to see him. He was a great friend to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), and Spencer can really use a friend right now. As usual, his life is a bit of a mess.

What’s been going on with Cameron out in California? Will he bring a new girlfriend home with him? Many fans are hoping for a reconciliation with his childhood crush, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer), who just happens to live out west. Would that make Joss regret her decision?
