Cam is off to play soccer for Stanford, which is a pretty impressive feat. Likewise, William Lipton needs some time off to study for finals and see his Spring semester through on campus. When the final fever dies down, he’ll be back on-screen.

When Cam comes back to town on General Hospital, things aren’t going to be the same as he left them. However, he’s not going to be the same either. When he left Port Chuck, he was sullen and wishing things had turned out differently.

However, going away to Stanford might shed some light on things for him and make him realize that the opportunity to play ball for such a prestigious school may not have happened had he been too afraid to leave Joss’ side.
