General Hospital Spoilers: Brook Lynn Struggles With Lois’ Love For Eddie

General Hospital spoilers gush Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has been heartbroken since her father slipped at the Metro Court pool and seemingly woke up an entirely different person.

Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) is not her father, but she knows a bit about him. Ironically, when Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) dabbled in this identity disorder in the past, he found himself married to Brook Lynn’s mother, Lois Cuerllo (Rena Sofer).

With Lois coming to Port Charles next week, it stands to reason that Brook Lynn is going to have a tough time seeing Eddie interact with her mother as though she is the only person he remembers from before he woke up in that hospital room. What she won’t expect is how much affection her mom might share for Eddie in return.

General Hospital Spoilers — Back To The Start

For those who don’t know, when Ned first met Lois, he was actually Eddie at the time. She had no idea when she became Mrs. Eddie Maine that she was actually becoming Mrs. Ned Quartermaine. That was quite the revelation when it all went down.

Lois has never been entirely written out of the storyline. We hear about her via Brook Lynn from time to time, and it was always assumed that any time Brook Lynn spent away from the Q mansion and Port Charles, she was back in Bensonhurst with her mom.

It’s going to feel like old times having Lois kicking up dust in the Q mansion again though. GH fans who weren’t watching in the nineties are finally going to understand where Brook Lynn gets her personality from.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Brook Lynn Quartermaine Could See Her Parents Together Again

Eddie has been in search of a siren that calls to his heart, but he doesn’t know her face or her name. Has it just been that long since he’s laid eyes on Lois, or did that fall at the pool knock even Eddie’s memories out of whack?

It would seem so given that he didn’t even remember he had a daughter, nor did he remember his own mom, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). But again, he’s Eddie, not Ned. Brook Lynn wasn’t around to see her parents together in the past.

Their marriage only lasted a couple of very tumultuous years. But seeing them together now — and actually enjoying each other — is going to impact her in ways she didn’t expect.

General Hospital Spoilers — What About Leo Quartermaine And Olivia Quartermaine?

Of course, Brook Lynn may also worry that the man who loves Lois is possibly a temporary fixture.

Likewise, she may be concerned for her mom — who will seem every bit as in love with Eddie as she was the day she married him — that her heart will be broken all over again if he disappears like he did before as Ned regains control of himself.

Of course, there is another side to this coin, too: Ned’s existing family. Doing the right thing has never come easy to Brook Lynn — or any Quartermaine for that matter.

It’s going to weigh on her heart that Eddie and Lois reuniting in any fashion means Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) get pushed to the side.

Eddie can’t help the way he feels, but Brook Lynn may have a harder time believing that coming from her mother. Does this make her a homewrecker? Is Eddie off limits or not? Do anyones feelings but Eddie’s matter in this equation?
