General Hospital Spoilers – Lucy Coe Is Furious…And Suspicious

When Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) realizes that someone made a copy of all The Deceptor’s secrets, she immediately jumps to conclusions and assumes Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) did it. At least she quickly thinks about things and deduces that since Maxie already had the information, she would not have needed to do that, so who did it?

It dawns on Lucy that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has been around a lot of late and could have been the one to do it, but why would she do it? When Lucy decides to question Brook Lynn, she decides to do something novel and tell the truth.

Of course, General Hospital spoilers show Brook Lynn avoids telling the whole truth about what she has really been up to. She can’t let anyone know that Granny Tracy (Jane Elliot) put her up to working for Deception again so she can get information on The Deceptor.

BLQ fears Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) ever finding out that Tracy is the one who helped him get another hearing with the PCPD civilian review board.

To that end, Brook Lynn lies and tells Lucy that she downloaded the files so she could learn as much about her job as possible and do the best she could as an employee. She just has to hope that Lucy buys this story.

“She launches into this whole thing about how she wanted to know more about the product, she wanted to do a better job and had no idea that [the files contained] trade secrets,” Amanda Setton said in the July 10, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “She talks a really good game to Lucy and Maxie, it’s just a question of, will she actually talk her way out of it?”

Since we doing Brook Lynn would be found out so fast and GH takes forever to tell stories, Brook Lynn’s gamble will likely pay off, but how long can she keep this going?
