General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Needs Sonny’s Help

General Hospital spoilers tease Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) is holding it down in public, but on the inside, she’s panicking. She was certain she killed her husband, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), when she clobbered him over the head with an iron statue.

However, his disappearance from the last place she left his body tells a different story. Did Nikolas get up and walk away on his own? Did someone snatch him? If they did, she can be certain someone is going to come back around to roost, and she’ll be expected to pay up in a major way.

With this threat looming over her head, Ava can only think of one person she can run to for help — Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). However, that might put a crimp in her friendship with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Jerome Cassadine Comes Clean, But Only To Sonny Corinthos

Ava nearly told Sonny the whole truth when chatting with him at the Metro Court restaurant, but it wasn’t the right time. She knew as soon as she let it slip that Nikolas threatened their daughter, Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola), that Sonny was going to be on her side and willing to help her.

However, Nina was within earshot and sure to return to their table any minute. If she really wants Sonny’s help on this front, Ava knows she’ll have to seek his support when Nina isn’t present.

GH Spoilers – Say Sonny Corinthos Comes to Her Aid

Ava will do just that, and Sonny is going to show up for her in a big way. While he can’t use any of his resources to figure out where Nikolas went or what happened to him after Ava and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) left him in the stables tack room, he can keep an eye on Ava and Avery now to make sure no one harms a hair on either of their heads.

That is likely when Sonny is going to figure out that someone else has their eye on Ava — Mason (Nathanyal Grey), Austin’s shifty cousin who has been targeting her for at least a couple weeks now.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Reeves Doesn’t Like This One Bit

When Nina catches on and realizes Sonny and Ava are meeting privately and working together in some capacity that she isn’t “allowed” to know about, she’s not going to be happy. Nina isn’t new to Sonny’s world; she knows his work requires him to keep her separate to keep her safe.

But why doesn’t that apply to Ava? Without knowing the details of what is going on, it’s going to look like Ava and Sonny are intentionally keeping a personal secret from her more so than anything professional in Sonny’s world.
