General Hospital Spoilers: Ava And Nikolas’ Final Act?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nikolas confronting Ava over using his son to enact her little revenge plan.

Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) shows up at his own front door to have it out with his soon-to-be ex-wife, who has taken over the castle. These are Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) first moments as lady of the manor and they do not go well at all.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Nikolas is absolutely furious that Ava showed Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) the video of him confessing to pushing Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) off the parapet when it was Ava who was really there when the girl fell.

“Nikolas comes looking for Ava because he needs to hear it straight from her,” Head Writer Chris Van Etten said in the February 13, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “Spencer was coy during his confrontation with Nikolas because Laura was on hand, and Spencer wanted to spare Nikolas some measure of dignity. But, alone with Ava, Nikolas intends to get the whole, unvarnished truth.”

At this point, Ava is no longer playing games. She is going to bring Nikolas down no matter what it takes. After all, he sided with Esme, he cheated on her with Esme, and now he is going to have a baby with Esme. As Esme herself said, “That’s a lot.”

That doesn’t mean that Ava won’t have a slight change of heart after this confrontation, but will it be too late?

‘[Nikolas] throws several revelations in Ava’s face, upending her understanding of his recent behavior and casting her reasoning into doubt. But, Nikolas’ next act doesn’t allow her the luxury of second-guessing her opinions,” Van Etten said.

Uh-oh. That doesn’t sound too good for either injured party here and Van Etten promises that consequence of this showdown results in a “dire vow and a fateful act that will be felt for years to come.”

After that scene of Nikolas telling Laura Collins (Genie Francis) that she is the best mother he could have ever asked for, it sounds just like Nikolas is about to be presumed dead once again. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see how these stories play out.
