General Hospital Spoilers: Austin’s Generous Offer, Mason Won’t Take Payoff?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) will do just about anything to get rid of his cousin Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) and his illegal business. Austin told him point blank he would no longer operate on the “Family’s” patients they send in-he tries to pay him off but Mason won’t take it!

General Hospital Spoilers – More Money For “The Family”

The “patients” that Mason has been bringing to GH for Austin to operate on have more than likely been drug mules, who swallow small packets of drugs such as meth. Then they either come out normally or they go to a black market doctor to have the drug packet removed surgically and expenses paid by the drug dealer. It is also a possibility that the “family business” is black market organ donation, but as quickly as patients are released, that is doubtful.

Of course, what happens to these patients after the operations has never been shown-but a bunch of unaccounted bodies in the GH morgue would noticed. Austin’s been in Port Charles long enough to save up some money, and he offers Mason a generous payout to leave, stressing “more money for the family”.

GH Spoilers – Mason Gatlin Is Putting People In Danger

It’s pretty obvious that Austin knows a lot more about the dangerous side of Mason than what he’s been letting on to others. He’s implied some pretty dangerous and creepy things when he told him he wouldn’t dare, in reference to him approaching Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) with a lollipop.

General Hospital spoilers say Mason said the next time he approached Georgie he wouldn’t be a stranger, and that’s when Austin nearly throttled him as Ava Jerome (Maura West) approached the door. That’s a very bad implication with this Mason guy – does he do child trafficking and child sex slaves as a side business as well?

General Hospital Spoilers – Mason Gatlin Refuses The Payoff

Mason, as expected, refuses the payoff-he says the business in Port Charles is much too profitable and there are way too many “customers” available. This riles up Austin, naturally, because when he chose to become a doctor he took an oath to do no harm and he takes it very seriously! He is tired of being “the family’s” facilitator for its black market business, and he knows that the “products” absolutely do harm, but if he reports he would be an accessory.

Poor Austin’s really between a rock and a hard place with not being able to get Mason to leave town and take the family business elsewhere. Austin makes another suggestion – perhaps find another corrupt doctor to do these operations over at Mercy Hospital, he’s heard some shady things go on over there!
