General Hospital Spoilers: Are Austin And Mason Keeping Nikolas Alive In Pautauk?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Gray) are keeping Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) alive in Pautauk. Now that the truth has been revealed that Austin revived him, admitting it to big boss Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) where’s he at-is he in Austin’s former medical practice in Pautauk?

General Hospital Spoilers: Family Connections

Cyrus didn’t act like he knew Nikolas was alive when Austin told him, and wanted out of whatever scheme they were in on together.

The two have a connection from the past, Cyrus with Charity Gatlin (Gloria Karlin) apparently, from when Austin was just a child. It’s an excellent question as to if Austin even realizes Cyrus is Nikolas’ uncle through half-sister Laura Collins (Genie Francis) although it would seem that he would.

Cyrus told Austin he could leave their contract in peace, what Cyrus does with the information is unknown. But the question now becomes, where do Austin and Mason have Nikolas?

GH Spoilers: Working With A Female Partner In Pautauk

It seems obvious that Cyrus must have been working with a female partner in Pautauk, since Mason kept telling Austin that “she” was expecting him back. The partner could have shown up in Port Charles since that time, many believing she could be Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) running things from behind bars at D’Archam, close to Pautauk.

That makes sense because now both Olivia and Cyrus are in Pentonville Prison in separate sections-it also makes sense that Austin had Nikolas moved to his old medical practice after stabilization.

He claimed to have sold his practice when he followed Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to Port Charles, and trying to get the Quartermaines to acknowledge his late father’s relation. As for where Cyrus fits into Austin’s past and his childhood remains a mystery, but apparently he was good friends with Charity and Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond).

General Hospital Spoilers: Might Cyrus Renault Take Action?

Might Cyrus take action based on Austin’s confession that he saved Nikolas’ life, considering Nikolas is his nephew and he looked out for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) in Spring Ridge?

Finding his nephew for Laura would certainly score him some brownie points with his sister, although why he’d want intel on Pikeman is a puzzle. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) set Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) up with false intel now in Cyrus’ hands.

Sonny and Cyrus may find themselves working together again, both to take down Pikeman and to rescue an alive Nikolas. But Austin and Mason might find themselves on the wrong side of both of them, considering how they’re playing Ava Jerome (Maura West)!
