General Hospital: Please Let Willow Get Out Of Bed

General Hospital spoilers reveals, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) was diagnosed with leukemia close to a year ago.

First, she kept her diagnosis a secret from everyone, even her then-boyfriend and now-husband Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), so that she could delay treatment and not harm her baby.

Since then, her bone marrow donation from numerous people was unable to happen or delayed. She also went into a coma after her daughter was born.

Willow has finally received the bone marrow from Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) but she is still recovering.

Let’s face it, Willow has always been a bit boring. She is perhaps too nice. The character is always sweet and tries to do the right thing.

But she once had some interesting stories. The whole “Dawn of Day” cult was ripped from real-life headlines, and her part in taking down Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) was integral to the story.

Her relationship with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) was sweet. Her fights with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) showed that she actually had a backbone. Her relationship with Michael even lent a little excitement to the character when they had an affair after she married the dying Chase (who did not die).

GH Spoilers – Willow Corinthos Is Always In Bed

Poor Katelyn MacMullen! The actress has basically been lying down for the better part of a year. She is a soap actress and she never gets to dress up or put on makeup.

She spent months on the couch at the Quartermaine gatehouse with a blanket over her. Now they moved her to quarantine in a bed at General Hospital. For a while, the closest she came to having a scene with another character was through a window on the phone.

Plus, whenever she speaks to someone it is either about how sick she is or to complain about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Fans have given her the nickname “Weeping Willow.” Her husband Michael has also become quite whiny.

General Hospital Spoilers – It Is Time For A New Storyline For Willow Corinthos

It is time for Willow to make a recovery and stand upright for a change. Let her be a mother to her children and begin life with her husband.

Maybe something new and exciting could happen for the character. Something other than whining about how awful Nina is.

Nelle could return and something fun (either good or bad) could occur between the two since they are now sisters. Is it too much to hope that Willow, Nelle and Nina could be the Reeves women, just like the Davis women? Or is it more likely that they would go to war?

Please General Hospital, just get Willow back on her feet.
