Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) are one of General Hospital’s steadiest couples. The two have been together since high school and are now in a domestic partnership. They are in it for the long haul.
They are stable and happy together. It was almost laughable when Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) inferred that TJ was having an affair with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). It would be a shock if he ever cheated on Molly. Now the domestic partners have a huge struggle ahead of them. It will not be as easy as they hoped to have a baby.
General Hospital Spoilers – Molly Lansing Davis Is Diagnosed With Endometriosis on General Hospital
Endometriosis is an often painful disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus — the endometrium — grows outside your uterus. In some cases, it can cause infertility.
Molly and TJ are now dealing with infertility due to her endometriosis diagnosis.
They decided to freeze her eggs so that a surrogate could carry their biological child. Bad news on that front also – Dr. Navarro (Christina Ferraro) informed the couple that Molly’s eggs are not good quality and are not likely viable.
This was a huge blow to the young couple who are hoping to have children on General Hospital.
GH Spoilers – Molly Lansing Davis Wants To Take Some Time, But Does TJ Ashford ?
The news about her eggs was devastating to Molly. She was already told that she cannot carry a baby, and now she will most likely not be able to have a child that is biologically hers. This would be very hard for anyone to deal with.
Molly has always been a determined young woman. When she sets her mind on something, she gets it done. She is a lot like her mom, and is on her way to becoming a successful lawyer just like Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Her endometriosis and how it affects her fertility is not something she can control, and this is difficult for Molly, who likes to be in control.
She is understandably upset, and now needs a little time to digest all this new information and how she wants to proceed. It is natural to want to take some time away from the subject and focus on her relationship, her career, and even having a little fun.
TJ agreed to this when she told him, but was he only trying not to upset his domestic partner? He did not look all that happy about Molly’s decision.
Infertility is challenging for many couples. It is stressful which can lead to miscommunication and hurt feelings.
TJ and Molly both want to have a baby but he may want to jump right to the next step, while she is not ready for that at the moment. This may cause problems in their relationship.
Nobody wants to see the end of this happy couple but relationships don’t last forever on General Hospital. This could be the first sign that Molly and TJ will not make it long-term, or it may just be a bump in the road.
Keep watching General Hospital to find out what happens to the long-term couple.
