General Hospital: Can Carly And Olivia Repair Their Friendship?

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) have been best friends for a while.

They became close when Olivia came to work at the Metro Court, which Carly owned at the time with Connie Falconeri (Megan Ward).

Olivia inherited Connie’s half of the hotel upon her death. She and Carly worked well together and became closer.

Their friendship was a surprise because Carly didn’t get along with many women, especially Sonny’s exes.

She has softened through the years and is now close with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and is even nice to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).

There is now trouble in Carly and Olivia’s friendship paradise.General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer’s Accusations Against Ned Quartermaine On General Hospital

When Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) were arrested and charged with insider trading, everyone assumed that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) was the one who turned them in.

Ned vehemently denied the charges, but the only person who believed him was his daughter, Brooke Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). His own wife thought he was lying.

When Carly told her bestie to leave her husband for what he did, Olivia thought she was going too far.

Eventually, she realized Ned was telling the truth, but right after she apologized, he fell into the pool and hit his head.

Olivia lashed out at Carly while her husband was in surgery. She had enough of Carly’s accusations and was only concerned for Ned.

Now he thinks he is Eddie Maine.

GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves Will Drive A Bigger Wedge Between The Besties

When Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) first fell for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Olivia was almost as angry as Carly.

When she purchased Carly’s half of the Metro Court, they were both livid. Olivia even refused to work with Nina at the beginning.

Now that some time has passed, Olivia has warmed up a bit to Sonny’s fiance. She is close to the mob boss and wants him to be happy.

She has gone from hatred to tolerance to pleasant.

Her and Carly’s friendship is strained to say the least. They are each wrapped up in their own drama and have not taken the time to make things right.

Now Olivia has volunteered to not only have Sonny and Nina’s wedding at the Metro Court but to help plan it.

She says it will distract her from the Ned/Eddie Maine issues but maybe she wants to become friends with Nina. It would definitely make Sonny happy.

One person who it will not make happy is Carly. Nina has taken her husband and her hotel.

Now she will step in Carly’s shoes with her best friend. Carly will be furious when she finds out.

This will of course all blow up in Nina’s face when everyone finds out she was the one who called the SEC.

Olivia will despise her for letting Ned take the fall.

Will it be in time to save her friendship with Carly?
