Chrisley knows Best star, Savannah Chrisley and her siblings miss their mom and dad, Julie and Todd desperately. While many people say “do the crime, serve the time,” many USA Network fans believe in their innocence. This Easter is a very difficult time for the family because of the lengthy incarceration in federal prisons.
Savannah Chrisley & Her Family Feel Desperate Pain
People like Joe and Teresa Giudice served time, and so does Jen Shah, However, none of their sentences were as severe as Todd and Julie’s. What makes it worse is that they both serve their time concurrently, and they have minor kids. Actually, on her Unlocked podcast, their daughter described how her 16-year-old brother, Grayson had a breakdown about his mom and dad’s incarceration. Meanwhile her little sister, Chloe is bewildered and questioning God.
In another podcast episode, Savannah Chrisley talked about her own breakdown and the pain she struggled with after her mom and dad were sentenced for tax and fraud-related crimes in Atlanta. The Chrisley Knows Best star has a difficult time as well because she is raising her younger siblings. She said that she’s “grieving the loss of parents” while struggling to fill the role of “mother” in the youngsters’ lives. Well, as Easter comes along, she seems courageous but admits to desperate grief and pain.
Savannah Chrisley – Shares Her Grief And At Easter
On April 5, the USA Network star took to her Instagram and wrote a lengthy caption. Her slide show revealed many inspiring messages and family photos of her mom and dad. She wrote, “As this holiday weekend rolls around all I feel is grief. In 25 years I have never spent a single holiday without my sweet mama and daddy.” And there’s another thing that makes her feel even worse.
Savannah Chrisley continued and talked about the fact that on April 6, it’s her “daddy’s birthday.” Next, putting up a sobbing emoji, she wrote, “OH HOW I PRAY FOR TIME TO FLY! Can it be Monday already ? When you lose someone special, your world lacks its celebratory qualities. Holidays magnify that loss.”
Savannah Chrisley – Trying So Hard To Be Brave & Strong
Savannah Chrisley also tried to put a positive spin on it, She talked about how “you can – and will – get through the holidays” She mentioned that “grief is not just pain, grief is love.”
At the end of her message, she talked about the massive amount of people who are in prison who have children. She noted that “Over five million children in the United States have experienced the incarceration of a parent.”
