EastEnders Spoilers: Zack Hudson Finds Someone To Confide In Amid HIV Storyline

EastEnders spoilers, news, and updates tease that Zack Hudson (James Farrar) will find someone to confide in as he battles HIV. Will he be able to reveal his HIV-positive status to other people?

Fans know that the chef recently tested positive for HIV, and nobody else knew about it. He had no one to turn to for support. But things are about to change. He’ll find someone willing to support him, and it’s no other than Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf).

EastEnders Spoilers – Zack Hudson Gets A Surprise

Spoilers hint that Zack will be surprised to learn that Sam stayed in Walford instead of moving to Germany with Ricky Butcher (Sid Owens). He asks about her current struggles, but Sam becomes concerned when Zack spills a lot about his diagnosis.

She recalled the text coming from GUM Clinic to all of Zack’s previous sexual partners. Sam eventually realizes that the notification was about him, and he confirms her suspicions. Sam immediately offers him help.

Zack is obviously ashamed of testing positive for HIV because of how other people may react once they know that he has it. Sam will call him out for not taking his meds and encourage him to take care of himself better.

Sam also tells him to come clean to Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) about his diagnosis, especially since they’re expecting a baby together. But will Zack manage to overcome his nervousness and tell the people he cares about regarding his diagnosis?

EastEnders Spoilers – Zack Hudson’s Storyline Spikes Search For HIV Research

The Terrence Higgins Trust reported an increase in website visitors as EastEnders kicks off Zack’s HIV storyline.

The UK charity’s website revealed a 75% increase in visits after the scenes were aired.

“Since it aired, we have seen a jump in the number of people accessing information about HIV from our website,” he explained.

“The spike in our charity’s website traffic shows that Zack’s diagnosis has already started conversations in living rooms across the UK, and these much-needed discussions around the reality of HIV today will continue as his story unfolds,” chief executive Ian Green said.

Green recalled that they worked with EastEnders during the height of the HIV pandemic back in the 1990s. They collaborated on Mark Fowler’s storyline to make sure that the condition was portrayed correctly on screen.
