EastEnders spoilers, news, and updates tease that Chris Clenshaw teased the return of Little Mo. In an interview with Loose Women, the show’s executive producer dropped some hints about the possible return of a fan favorite.
Kacey Ainsworth played the role of Little Mo from 2000 until 2006. It’s been a while since she was last seen on the show. However, fans started to speculate about his return when Freddie (Bobby Brazier), joined EastEnders last year.
“Freddie is in the show, and so there is every chance Little Mo could pop back to Walford…” he said.
Clenshaw didn’t divulge any other information but it’s good to know that the door is wide open for Little Mo’s return.
For those who didn’t know, Little Mo had some major storylines on EastEnders. He was a victim of domestic abuse and rape when he was married to Trevor Morgan (Alex Ferns). She also got married to Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick).
Her problems became worse when she got raped by Graham Foster (Alex McSweeney) and got pregnant with Freddie. She and Billy got divorced. After that, she found herself in a love triangle with Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) and her sister Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace).
In 2006, she fell in love with Dr. Oliver Cousins (Tom Ellis). However, their romance ended and she decided to leave Walford with Freddie and start a new life with her son in Leeds and forget about being Little Mo.
Freddie recently returned, wanting to get closer to his father, Billy. However, he found out that he was not his biological father. When pressed, Billy insisted that Freddie should wait for Little Mo to tell him the truth about his father.
EastEnders Spoilers – Chris Clenshaw Drops Other Hints
He also teased about the future of the pub. “What you will have seen this week is that Janine – who is in prison with his [Mick’s] unborn baby – is selling his share of The Vic,” Clenshaw said.
“Currently we have Nish Panesar and Sharon desperately trying to get their hands on the keys to the castle, but Linda is in secret talks with someone else,” he continued.
He hinted that her knight in shining armour will be someone that’s least expected. Regarding the fate of Mick Carter (Danny Dyer), Clenshaw said that there’s a chance he’s alive since his body wasn’t found yet. It’s like an unwritten rule in soap operas.
“Will Mick rock up in The Vic covered in seaweed? Will he be the dead body at Christmas? [laughs],” he continued.
