Duggar Family News: Why Did Jinger Vuolo Get Scared About Shiny, Happy People

Duggar Family News reveals that Jinger Vuolo got very worried about appearing on the Amazon documentary, Shiny, Happy People. Her sister, Jill Dillard appeared on the documentary and opened up about their family and growing up. The documentary focused on the IBLP religion and how the Duggars were a huge part of that.

Even though Jinger did write a tell-all book about her family, she wasn’t exactly sure if she should appear on the show too. She had a lot of opinions on why she shouldn’t appear in the documentary and decided to sit down and explain to her fans why she didn’t appear in the series. Let’s find out more.

Why Jinger Vuolo Didn’t Participate

Jinger was the first of the Duggar children to write a book about how she grew up and she has gotten plenty of backlash because of it. She shared some horrible moments in her childhood when she felt that something was wrong with her family.

She told her fans that she didn’t want to appear in the documentary because of the editing. Jinger felt that she would have no power in what was seen in the documentary after everything was edited. This wasn’t something that she wanted to think about.

She wanted to tell her story in her own words and that was why she chose to write her book and not appear on the documentary.

There was another way that she could tell her own story and that was through her book and she wanted to make that clear.

Jinger Vuolo’s Side Of Things

Jinger was happy to tell her fans, “I thought it would be best for me just to be able to tell my own story how I wanted, and for those viewing it, they wouldn’t see it through a bad lens.”

Jinger wants to continue to protect the relationship that she has with her family. She may ot be as close to her parents as she once was, but she has talked about trying to repair their relationship.

Her parents, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have openly said, “We love each member of our family and will continue to do all we can to have a good relationship with each one.”
