Duggar Family News: Jill Dillard Gets Candid And Emotional

Duggar Family News reveals that Jill Dillard has been trying to explain more about her new book that is coming out to her fans. She decided to follow in her sister’s footsteps and share her memoir with the world as well. Jill also recently appeared on the Amazon series, Shiny, Happy People. This series documented her life as part of the IBLP and the abuse that she and some of her sisters encountered at the hands of their older brother, Josh Duggar. The series exposed the entire religion and a lot of Jill’s famous family.

Even though she has gotten a lot of hate for doing the series, she is staying strong and doing her best to avoid all of the haters. Now she wants to open up more about her book and how it felt to finally see a few pages in print.

Jill Duggar’s New Book

This week, Jill shared a picture of herself with pages from her new book, Counting The Cost. She was thrilled to see it actually in print and she was going to start doing some edits to it.

She told her fans, “Things got real when I printed off the manuscript for my book, Counting The Cost… it was now one step closer to being out there. I cried and prayed over it. It’s been an emotional journey and one that wasn’t easy for me to write about. I hauled it around in this plastic baggie for a while making final edits.”

In the post, she also mentioned that the book was coming out on September 12 and she gave her fans some links as to where they could find it online.

She also gave them a link where they could buy an autographed copy. Of course, Jill’s fans were very happy to see that the book would be coming out this fall. They were quick to chime in about how excited they were for her.

As soon as Jill’s fans saw her post, they wanted to share their joy with her. One fan applauded her for opening up about her family’s religion.

Another fan told her, “Thank you for being willing to share your story so that others know they aren’t alone.” Jill got a lot of comments on how brave she is for wanting to tell this story and from the looks of it, she is very happy to do so.
