Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – When Will Gwen Rizcech Learn

No matter how many times Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) has tossed her aside for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), Gwen Rizcech (Emily O’Brien) keeps on coming back for more. She helps Xander out of messes and thinks he will finally look at her and treat her the way she wants, but then he has to be honest and tell her it will always be Sarah and she needs to give up on him.

Days of Our Lives spoilers show Gwen has heard this a million times before but it never gets any easier. This time, she decides to drown her sorrows in drinks as soap characters often do. That’s when she runs into a similarly downtrodden Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).

“Gwen has been trying to find her place in the world,” Head Writer Ron Carlivati said in the March 20, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “She has been a bit adrift. She helped Xaner and now he’s made it clear that he’s not sure if he wants to be with her or can be with her.”

DOOL Spoilers – Alex Kiriakis Has His Own Troubles, So…

Alex Kiriakis has also had a sad life of late. He thought he finally got the girl but a stupid stunt caused Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) to dump him after just one night together. Then, he thought he would get the Titan CEO position, but instead, he is stuck as co-CEO with Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers).

So, Alex also decides to drown himself in booze this week and runs right into Gwen. The pair gets drunk and commiserate together, regaling their tales of woe. Clearly, one thing will lead to another and we might have a new couple to cause mischief in Salem.

“Is this a potential couple who could be potentially dangerous together?” Carlivati asked. “We know Alex is a bit of a player and a wild card, so it’s going to be fun to see the two of them together.”
