Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that even though he’s behind bars in his orange jumpsuit, Clyde Weston (James Read) has managed to make life miserable for those on the outside.

Take Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) for example. Clyde is making her run his drug business, and it looks like his next target could be Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace).

Clyde managed to have someone slice and dice poor old Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), Ava’s son. Now she understands that she must obey Clyde or else more bad things will happen.

A mother will do anything to protect her cubs, and Ava is no different despite being a convict herself.

Ava will allow herself to be manipulated by Clyde in order to keep her son safe. At the same time, Wendy could make herself Clyde’s next target due to her unwelcome curiosity.

Wendy could become a valuable target since Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is about to hire Wendy to work at the Salem PD.

Wendy has mad IT skills as she showed when she recently made Ava a fake ID. Why not put those skills to good use for the citizens of Salem?

Explosive show spoilers tease that Rafe will give her a job where she can use her skill set for good ventures. But, it turns out that Clyde may not like Tripp’s girlfriend working at the Salem police department.

What if snoopy Wendy gets concerned about Ava and starts snooping? If Clyde gets wind of this, he won’t like someone getting info on his setup.

Even though he’s behind bars, Clyde has power and pull, and he’s come too far to let someone like Wendy muck up his grand plans.

Think about it—if Wendy got wind of Clyde’s machinations, she would run to Tripp who would try and rescue his mom from Clyde’s clutches.

Although Clyde had someone stab Tripp, at this point he doesn’t want to do away with him—he could have had his goon take care of the handsome doctor once and for all, not just scare him and his loved ones.

In order for Clyde to keep a hold over Ava, Tripp has to be alive. But Wendy is more dispensable and Clyde is the kind of person who would have no qualms about lethally harming her to send a scary message to Ava.
