Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) has come a long way since he first arrived in Salem mere months ago. When he first arrived in town, Alex was a womanizer. He slept with several women without much thought to feelings or emotion. Romance was the last thing on his mind. But the moment he met Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), Alex began to change. His younger brother, Sonny Kiriakis (Zack Tinker) has watched as Alex began to change.

According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Alex has never been in love before. And Stephanie wasn’t about to fall for his charms, at least not initially. She rejected Alex at every turn. Meanwhile, Stephanie was getting close to her old friend Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Alex was worried that Chad was hitting on Stephanie and he definitely sees Chad as his competition. This has led Alex to overstepping more than once. She wasn’t happy when she overheard Alex asking Chad to back off.

The truth is, Chad is most certainly attracted to Stephanie. But Chad’s wife Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) was murdered less than a year ago. He isn’t ready to move on and still isn’t. But he is leaning on Stephanie as a friend, and Alex is having a hard time accepting that. That led Alex to making a huge mistake he may not be able to take back. When Alex and Stephanie were about to make love for the first time, Alex saw that Chad was calling. He made the decision to turn off Stephanie’s phone.

But Chad’s call this time was different. He was calling to let Stephanie know that her mother, Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) was on her deathbed. Unfortunately, Chad didn’t reach Stephanie in time for her to say goodbye to her mother. Once she realizes that Alex turned off her phone, she will likely end things with him, possibly forever. But look for Sonny to try to convince Stephanie to give Alex another chance. Sonny is the one person that has seen the change in Alex and may be able to get through to Stephanie, but will she be able to forgive him?
