Despite Rafe’s near-assault, Jada knows it was the hallucinogen and not the real Rafe that did that. In addition to that, Rafe and Jada’s obstacles include the department’s new policy on dating. So, for Rafe and Jada to have a romance, one of them must leave the Salem Police Department.

DOOL spoilers reveal that the Salem Police Department recently issued new rules on workplace dating. This won’t affect most of the employees except for two: Rafe and Jada. In the past, many romances and breakups have happened between employees at the police station. However, this new policy puts a damper on Rafe and Jada’s budding romance.

If Rafe and Jada had just admitted their feelings earlier, then they wouldn’t be struggling with this new policy now.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that while under the influence of the hallucinogen, Rafe forced a kiss on Jada. After Jada pushed him off, Rafe collapsed. Jada knows that Rafe was acting under the influence and doesn’t hold it against him. At the same time, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Michele Serfaty) witnesses the “assault.” So, expect Rafe to have to answer for his actions, even if he was drugged at the time.

Rafe will probably keep his job as police commissioner. However, Rafe’s guilt could get the best of him. At least, until Jada makes it clear that she doesn’t hold any ill will toward him.

Even though the workplace policy is in effect, Rafe and Jada might have a hard time controlling themselves. After all, they do work closely together day after day. Eventually, Rafe and Jada might take the next step. If they do, Rafe and Jada will probably try to keep the romance under wraps to protect their jobs.
