DOOL Spoilers: Philip Kiriakis Returning To Salem, John-Paul Lavoisier Back

Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint at a major return in Salem, very soon. According to Soap Opera Digest (SOD), Phillip Kiriakis will make a massive comeback to the little town, when actor John-Paul Lavoisier reprises the role.

Mr. Kiriakis was last played by actor Jay Kenneth Johnson, who also happens to be a fan favorite. He returned to the role in 2019 when he participated in the Last Blast Reunion web series special but did end up stepping into the mothership show in 2020.

Mr. Kiriakis was thought to be dead in 2021 when he tried to set up Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) for his murder because he was jealous of the bond he shared with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). He hasn’t been since, but mom Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), and a select few did know he is alive, while the town at large still thinks he’s deceased.

Still, while Lavoisier may be best known for his role on One Life to Live, playing Rex Balsom, he also portrayed Philip from 2015 to 2016.

DOOL Spoilers: Timeline For Philip Kiriakis’s Return

As per SOD, Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) son is slated for a comeback sometime in August. Will this coincide with the long-await news around Philip’s father’s death, onscreen?

His portrayer passed away in November 2022 at 89 years of age, but DOOL films about six months ahead of time, so it’s completely understandable as to why the show hasn’t fully addressed Victor not being on canvas.

Who will Philip turn to, romantically, once he arrives in Salem? Well, Chloe is busy with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) right now, but fans know it won’t be long before a very pregnant Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) returns to swoop him away from that romance.

Then again, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) is another love interest of Philip’s, and her marriage is falling apart at the moment. Only time will tell.
