Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) and his mother, Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) have been scheming together ever since they arrived in Salem earlier this year.

Dimitri’s 40th birthday was the deadline he needed to meet if he hoped to inherit a vast fortune from the Van Leuschner side of his family tree. All Dimitri needed to do was find and marry a suitable spouse and stay happily married for a full year, and then the fortune was his.

Dimitri chose Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) as his bride after she came to the DiMera Mansion to request an interview with Dimitri.

Dimitri accepted and learned as much as he could about Gwen beforehand. Dimitri said all the right and the interview turned into a seduction. But instead of telling her the truth, he led Gwen to believe their love was so intense that he could wait no more than a couple days to make it official, and he proposed.

But Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), Gwen’s best friend, was still suspicious of Dimitri as well. Leo’s desperation to help paid off and he discovered the documentation that Dimitri needed to be married before his birthday to inherit a vast fortune.

Megan and Dimitri agreed that Gwen Rizczech would be his bride. But Megan was forced to leave Salem when her own crimes made her a wanted fugitive. She had no idea that Leo was about to change the game.

Leo had every intention of telling Gwen why Dimitri really wanted to get married so fast. Dimitri warned Leo not to do it, but instead of hurting Leo, he kissed him instead!

Dimitri revealed that he was gay, but the inheritance didn’t specify a gay marriage would be acceptable, so Dimitri begged Leo to not to stop the wedding.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Leo Stark Feels Guilty!

Leo hates the idea of Gwen being hurt but Dimitri assured Leo he would make sure Gwen received a healthy payment if they stayed married the whole year.

Leo stayed quiet and Dimitri and Gwen were married. But Gwen will discover Leo and Dimitri in bed together in a matter of days. She will be so upset, so won’t even take into consideration the money she could get if she just agreed to stay in a loveless marriage for a year.

Look for her to divorce Dimitri immediately and leave town just as quickly. But Leo and Dimitri will soon face more problems when Megan contacts Dimitri.

She will certainly blame Leo for everything and so look for her to do what she does best. Megan will soon hire a contract killer to take out Leo! But will he succeed!
