According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, John rushes Marlena from the rooftop of the hospital to Sarah, who is unable to revive her. Speaking to the publication in a new interview, actress Deidre Hall, who plays Marlena on the hit Peacock soap, offers, “First of all, I didn’t have to learn dialogue, and I got to be in bed and be relaxed and have very little makeup on. That’s just an actor’s dream,at least it’s one of mine. The difficult thing was having my eyes closed and listening to two people that I love so much pour out their hearts and trying not to cry. It’s as if I was sitting there aware listening to it but, of course, I can’t have that response to it. Those are two actors who are very good at that. Martha is unsurpassed in doing emotional scenes and communicating deep feelings.”

After Belle and Eric say their goodbyes to Marlena one last time, DOOL spoilers show John tells Marlena that he believes that their love story will never die, regardless of what happens to her. And before she knows it, Marlena is left alone while her soul rises from her body.

DOOL Spoilers – What’s Next For Marlena Evans?

Suffice to say, Marlena finds herself in a very heavenly place. Deidre continues, “It was an easy performance because Marlena doesn’t know where she is. She’s confused and lost. There’s the confusion of, ‘Where am I? What’s happened? What’s going on?’”
