DOOL Spoilers: Maggie Confides In Xander, Makes Him Feel Worse

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will confide in Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) but he’ll just feel worse. Her confession will feel like a guilt trip to Xander, who wanted his marriage to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) to work out so badly!

DOOL spoilers show Xander still loves Sarah and would do anything to get her back, but resigned himself to signing the divorce papers she handed him recently. Sarah recently made the decision to take a job that Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) got her at the hospital where he works and go back with him to Chicago. They may very well try another chance at marriage, since Sarah was in such a hurry to make sure her and Xander’s divorce was a done deal this time.

The courthouse had inexplicably lost the paperwork the first time so a rush was put on it this time so Sarah would be free of Xander forever. She was ready to move on even though he wasn’t, and as for Maggie, she regrets Xander couldn’t keep his redemption he had worked so hard to achieve.

DOOL Spoilers – Maggie Kiriakis Wants To Talk To Xander Cook

After the divorce is done and Sarah’s on her way back to Chicago with Rex, Maggie contacts Xander, wanting to talk to him about some things. Xander may hope that she wants to hire him back at Titan, having found out she replaced Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) after he and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) moved.

But it turns out she wants to talk to him about something else, mainly his redemption he’d worked so hard to achieve before Sarah went missing. That was the first time, when it was eventually revealed she’d been drugged and held hostage by Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) for nearly two years. Xander lost his footing during all those months, having gone back to some of his old ways, especially after getting involved with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).

Xander feels worth about two cents when Maggie reveals she believed in him and still does, and hoped he could redeem himself again. She hated that yet another evil woman, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) forced him to work for her but believes deep down he’s still a good man. Xander tears up but tries to hide it, as Maggie continues, saying that even Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) has forgiven him.

Maggie tells Xander he knows that if he didn’t have a good heart, he would have killed both Bonnie and Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) himself, but he didn’t. She still believes in him and that he can continue on the path to full redemption if he chooses to try.
