Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – It’s Time For Abe Carver’s Funeral

It looks like Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) gets a temporary get-out-of-jail-free card and is able to return to Salem for Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) funeral. It is a sad occasion but Pailina Price Carver (Jackee Harry) is thrilled to see her older daughter. Lani never expected to return to Salem for such a sad occasion, but that is the situation they are in.

Or at least that is the situation they think they are in. The audience knows that Abe is not dead but for some reason, his loved ones, who have seen countless people return from the dead before, believe some circumstantial evidence that doesn’t really prove Abe is dead.

Not only did they not find a body, none of them even saw Abe fall into the water. Thankfully, Lani is suspicious of everything going on.

DOOL Spoilers – Lani Price Grant Wants Answers Now

Lani immediately goes right into detective mode after arriving in Salem because something is not quite right here and she is determined to get to the bottom of things.

“The information that’s been presented to her isn’t adding up,” Sal Stowers said in the July 10, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “No one seems to be concerned that there’s no body And Lani, being the great detective that she is, wants to prove that Abe is really gone.”

Or maybe she just wants to prove the truth — that Abe is not gone and there is no reason for this funeral.

“She starts getting these instincts that lead her to go and search,” Stowers said. “Eli’s trying to get her to trust the Salem PD, but that’s not going to work. She has to do it herself.”

Will Lani be the one to put an end to this confusing story in which a seemingly nice nurse named Whitley who looks like Paulina kidnaps Abe and keeps him holed up in her apartment?
