DOOL Spoilers: Greg Rikaart on Leo’s Trailblazing Story, Gwen & Dimitri’s Controversial Solution?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Greg Rikaart recently spoke to TV Insider about his DOOL character, Leo Stark. Right now, Leo is having an affair with Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte). However, Dimitri is getting ready to marry Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). Gwen finds out the truth very soon, but could there be a controversial and scandalous twist in this storyline?

Megan Hathaway DiMera’s Demand

DOOL spoilers reveal that Megan Hathaway DiMera (Miranda Wilson) ordered Dimitri to marry before his 40th birthday.

Now, this wasn’t really Megan’s rule as it was for Dimitri to get a substantial sum of money. The only problem is that Dimitri isn’t interested in getting married.

After Dimitri and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) shot down Megan’s idea of marrying each other, Gwen became part of the storyline.

So, Dimitri has been wooing Gwen just as Megan instructed. Now Gwen and Dimitri are getting married. However, there is an unexpected twist, which is Dimitri’s interest in Leo!

DOOL Spoilers: Dimitri von Leuschner Caught

During the week of July 17, Leo returns home to Gwen after getting in bed with Dimitri. Leo will be consumed with guilt but won’t be able to hurt Gwen.

For Gwen’s entire life, she has wanted nothing but love. The one thing that everyone else seems to take for granted. So, even if Gwen does suspect that Dimitri isn’t legit, she won’t want to risk love slipping through her fingers.

Gwen Rizczech’s Wedding

TV Insider published a photo of Gwen in a wedding gown. Gwen is standing next to a smiling Dimitri, who has Leo’s arms wrapped around his waist. Gwen has a baffled look on her face, but both Dimitri and Leo are grinning ear-to-ear.

Now, soap storylines typically last several months. There are exceptions, but that is the general formula for soap writing.

So, even though Gwen sees Dimitri’s sext message to Leo during the week of July 24, the wedding still continues. In addition to that, Gwen actually catches Leo and Dimitri together that same week. So, that will leave Dimitri and Leo having to come up with some kind of explanation!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: ‘Throuple’ Teased?

Rikaart spoke to TV Insider about Leo, Dimitri and Gwen. The actor couldn’t give away any solid spoilers. However, Rikaart did seem to imply that head writer Ron Carlivati is doing another “trailblazing” storyline.

“Right now, it’s particularly fun. We’re getting into the meat and potatoes of the story with me, Emily and Peter, which is such a great happy reunion as we’ve all been on Y&R…

We’re doing some fun stuff. It’s a bit trailblazing in that it’s a love triangle involving a gay man [Leo] and a straight woman [Gwen] fighting over the same guy [Dimitri], who is bisexual.”

In the past, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) had a love triangle with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). Then, there was Allie and Chanel’s threesome with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). So, could a “Throuple” between Dimitri, Gwen and Leo be next?
