Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – EJ Can’t Be Outdone

Knowing that Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) proposed to Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and she said yes is enough to send EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) into a jealous frenzy. If Stefan gets the girl, then he has to get the girl too, so he gets down on one knee and proposes marriage to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).

Yes, EJ believes he is in love with Nicole and even forgives her for that transgression with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) during The Great Sweet Bits Biscuit Incident of 2023. He knows it was the drugs talking and Nicole is otherwise true to him, so proposing is the next logical step.

“He wants to do this but also there could be a benefit to doing it right now,” Feuerriegel said in the May 29, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “It comes across as he’s only doing this because of Stefan and Gabi and it’s true, to a degree, but there’s also depth behind it.”

Too bad Nicole doesn’t see that depth because she just watched Gabi wave that engagement ring around and saw the look on EJ’s face.

DOOL Spoilers – Nicole Walker Can’t Do It

Days of Our Lives spoilers Nicole quickly turns EJ down and tells him it’s because she is not sure if he is being sincere. This whole thing was impromptu and doesn’t seem true and honest to her, so EJ decides he is going to try again and plan this out better.

Too bad that Nicole is not being completely honest with him either. She is pregnant and either EJ or Eric could be the father. There is really no reason to hide this from EJ considering he knows what happened with Eric, but Nicole is a nervous wreck who never thought she’d be pregnant again. She had given up on ever carrying a child to term and is not even sure what might happen with this one.

Nicole knows her own disappointment if this pregnancy doesn’t work out. Does she want to risk hurting EJ or Eric if they knew this baby existed? She also has to think of what she will say when EJ proposes again. Stream new episodes of Days of Our Lives weekdays on Peacock starting at 6 AM EST.
