DOOL spoilers reveal that Megan Hathaway DiMera (Miranda Wilson) pushed Dimitri to get married before his 40th birthday. That way, Dimitri – and Megan by extension – would inherit a ton of cash.

While Megan suggested that Dimitri marry Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), that clearly did not happen. Both Kristen and Dimitri were against the idea purely based on the ick factor.

Next, Megan thought that Gwen would make a good mate for Dimitri. Now, Dimitri did as his mother wanted and ended up marrying Gwen.

Gwen wanted to know what Leo was doing with her new husband. That is when Leo came up with a Madonna cover story.

Gwen got excited and suggested all three of them go see Madonna together. However, Dimitri claimed to still be ill.

Meanwhile, Leo acted surprised that Gwen actually liked Madonna. Now, the way Gwen was acting and Leo being shocked by his BFF’s musical tastes suggest something else is going on.

Gwen seems to suspect that Dimitri and Leo might have something going on. However, Gwen doesn’t like to be betrayed or deceived. Gwen is also quite adept at being a master manipulator.

So, could Gwen be getting the perfect revenge? After all, next week, Dimitri finds out that the validity of his marriage is called into question. So, maybe Gwen uses The Spectator to expose Dimitri’s scandalous secret.

In fact, Gwen could agree to keep quiet so Dimitri can get his millions. Gwen is going to want something in exchange, though.
