The Days preview video for the week of September 18th implies that a briefcase unlocks the mystery as to the “what” and “why” behind Victor’s death, one that Theresa Donovan (Jenn Lilley) will have in her possession.

Interestingly enough, her daddy Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) will make an appearance next week.

A scene in the preview is shown where he questions his daughter on how far she thought she could take this lie, as she “hugs” a silver briefcase. The video seems to suggest that Ms. Donovan knows more than she’s letting on.

In the end of the weekly preview video, the briefcase lands in the lands of Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) and eventually Maggie Kiriakis Horton (Suzanne Rogers), so what are the contents in the briefcase, and why all the mystery?

Days Spoilers: Theresa Reached Out For Help & Victor Obliged

Both Victor and Theresa are far from friends, but when she left Salem to protect Brady and Tate Black (Colin and Kyle Shroeder), the two develop a mutual understanding.

As Shane is back in town as this mystery unravels, could this all be ISA-related?

Could Theresa have asked Victor for help, on behalf of her dad and the ISA, and Victor obliged?

Not that Theresa or Shane are “behind” Victor’s death, or responsible, but they may have been the reason he was in Greece, helping with an investigation.

Why his plane went down may continue to be a mystery, but the reason he was in Greece may not.

Perhaps in his later years, he helped the government agency when he could, without anyone else, including Maggie, knowing.
