Now he’s come to Salem, claiming to want Stephanie back, but is he still living a double life; will he spy Jada and want her back too?

Stephanie and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) have had a difference of opinion, Stephanie wants to get married and Chad doesn’t-he’s not ready to move on.

This has created problems between the couple, who have been living together for several months now and Stephanie naturally assumed they’d move forward, but Chad’s not ready.

Stephanie unfortunately is competing with the memory of her dead cousin Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and while she grieved her cousin also, they weren’t buddy-buddy close.

Now, as if in perfect timing, she answers the door to Everett who she hasn’t seen in years-something is a little too perfect about that timing, it’s borderline creepy.

It seems bizarre that he’s trying to win her back, trying to convince her he didn’t ghost her-what else could she call it when he just disappeared?

DOOL Spoilers – Chad DiMera Notices And Pays Attention

Chad and Stephanie haven’t exactly split up, they’re still living together in the same place, and he definitely notices and pays attention to this guy.

He knows about Everett because Stephanie had told him he was one reason she was a little gun shy about getting in deep with someone-he’d broken her heart.

It seems like Everett just wants to move in on her with no regard to her current situation, which is being involved with him, even though they’re in a rough patch. Chad just doesn’t trust Everett-not at all, there’s something strange and duplicitous about him.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Jada Hunter Tells Rafe Hernandez About Her Ex-Husband

Elsewhere in Salem, Jada and Rafe are in bed when he asks her has she ever lived with someone, and she tells him yes-her ex-husband.

This is the first Rafe knows of her previous marriage, and Jada tells him a strange story of how it ended-he just disappeared.

She had to do a divorce by publication because no one could find him, this was back when she was a rookie on the police force.

He never responded either way, so she didn’t really know if he was still alive-she investigated and never found any paper trial or financials.

There’s one more thing about Everett and his apparent double life with Jada and Stephanie-their fathers, Marcus Hunter (Richard Biggs) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) were best friends-how strange!
