Days spoilers indicate that the baby specialist will ask EJ for some DNA genetic testing, so fans know this entire paternity thing will blow up again, soon. In fact, it looks as if Sloan’s secret about tampering with the results will surface, too.

With that being said, while all errors point toward Eric being the father, there is a chance that neither EJ nor Mr. Brady is the daddy. A recent scene between Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and his stepdad Rafe has raised some eyebrows with viewers online.

During their chat, Johnny revealed that Nicole was pregnant. May seem unnewsworthy; however, Mr. Hernandez was once very much in love with Nicole and was hurt when she broke their marriage apart to pursue a reunion (that was short-lived) with Eric. Much like Mr. Brady, Rafe is one of those amazing men in Salem who have always wanted a child but never fathered one of his own.

Salem erupted in chaos during the Sweet Bits biscuit debacle, with people doing things they wouldn’t normally have done. There’s also nothing Days writers love doing than creating “scenes from the past” that were never shown on canvas. What if a drugged Nicole and Rafe stumbled upon each at some point that day?

When Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) was pregnant with Eric’s child, Nicole was the one who convinced her not to keep the baby. As Jada is now with Rafe, Hernandez being the father would re-open the rivalry between the two ladies and create a new layer to this already complicated storyline.
