Because he’s jealous of Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) Chad went to great lengths to have him fired from his job. This entailed buying Gwen Rizczech’s (Emimly O’Brien) share of the newspaper and making Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) fire Everett.

Once she found out, an irate Stephanie moved out making Chad single again. In this case he was his own worst enemy, being wishy washy in his commitment to Stephanie but not wanting someone else to have her.

Chad has some growing up to do, and some decisions to make. What he does next may surprise you!

Maybe Chad will hire a nanny for his kids Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) now that Stephanie isn’t around to take care of them?!

Speaking of Stephanie, Chad might do a quickie rebound. The perfect choice would be Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu). Fans know that she is Everett’s ex-wife, something that neither Chad nor Stephanie realize.

It would make for weird logic in Chad’s DiMera mind to have a fling with a woman who was once attached to Everett, even if it doesn’t make entire sense—passion rarely does.

Then again Chad could go back to the family business, DiMera Enterprises. He has a lot to offer considering that his relatives are far shadier than he is.

There are many possibilities for Chad—including getting back together with Stephanie. These two have real feelings for each other, and maybe it will take being dumped for Chad to realize Stephanie is a keeper.

Then again, he better make up his mind quickly because it’s clear that Everett is pining for his ex. And, now that she knows he didn’t ghost her—he was in a coma—she may be more willing to forgive and forget.
