DOOL spoilers reveal that once Gabi learned about Stefan’s brainwashing, she took immediate action. Gabi ended up getting Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) to do a deprogramming on Stefan. Dr. Rolf didn’t have all of his equipment with him and was forced to improvise.
