Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans) replaced Adrienne Kiriakis (also played by Evans).

However, fans haven’t seen Bonnie have much of a story aside from learning others’ secrets.

It is teased that several of Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) loved one’s crumble under the weight of the grief. So, could Bonnie unexpectedly play hero as everyone else falls apart?

DOOL spoilers reveal that Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) is the one to inform Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) that Victor’s plane is missing. Meanwhile, Maggie frets about the fate of her husband.

Over at the Salem Police Department, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will take on his new role as commissioner.

However, Shawn will worry about his grandfather. So, this could play into Shawn’s guilt and stress over Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) former job, Victor’s missing plane as well as recovering from a drinking binge.

DOOL Spoilers – Justin Kiriakis’ Mission

Victor’s loved ones don’t have to wait very long for news. Unfortunately, it isn’t good news. Justin alerts everyone to the fact that Victor’s plane was found. However, there are no known survivors. As Maggie crumbles under the weight of the grief, Justin swoops in to support her.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Victor’s death will cause shockwaves throughout Salem.

Even though there were many who didn’t care for Victor, there were a few that understood his ways. No matter what, Victor loved his family.

Now, some of Victor’s loved ones were not on good terms with the man at the time of his death. There was tension with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) as well as Xander Cook (Paul Telfer).

There was also a complicated dynamic between Victor and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Not to mention Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal).

DOOL Spoilers – Taking Charge

Even though Kurth hinted to Soap Opera Digest magazine that Justin helps support Maggie, it says something else. The interview suggests that Justin’s grief will be massive but he will be focused on helping Maggie.

However, one person can’t hold everyone up while managing their own mourning. So, that suggests that perhaps Justin might feel crushed under the weight.

Will Bonnie surprise everyone by stepping up and handling the family crisis as everyone else crumbles? Bonnie needs more interesting storylines than hiding baby secrets and meddling in others’ love lives.

One clue that Bonnie and Maggie’s dynamic could change is a recent toenail painting scene. Maggie walked in as Bonnie was doing her toenails. With her feet propped up on the coffee table, Maggie asked Bonnie if she had to do her toes right there. Bonnie apologized but the dynamic seemed tense.

Often in soaps, this indicates a change in dynamics coming up. So, it just might be Bonnie – not Justin or another Kiriakis – that saves the family following Victor’s death.
