DOOL spoilers reveal that ever since Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) put Maggie in charge at Titan Industries, Alex’s luck has run out. Despite Alex’s best efforts, he can’t seem to make Maggie happy.

With Victor going to Greece to see Bo Brady (Peter Reckell), Alex suggested that Maggie go with her husband. Even though Maggie knows she needs to be there for both Victor and Bo, the business still has to run.

Maggie is trusting Alex to close this deal with Yuri. Maggie said all that Alex has to do is show up and have Yuri sign the paperwork. However, something happens and Alex clearly oversteps as usual.

Perhaps Alex doesn’t agree with the contract terms and does some negotiating. Another possibility is that Alex accidentally insults Yuri or shows up with a hangover. In any case, it seems that Maggie wouldn’t trust Alex with a super-important deal. So, maybe Maggie and Yuri know each other well. This could be a test. Yuri might report Alex’s behavior back to Maggie.
