DOOL Spoilers: Abe’s Hallucinations Are Really Flashbacks?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that after being drugged by Whitley King (Kim Coles) Abe Carver (James Reynolds) has hallucinations. But the question is-are they really hallucinations or are they flashbacks to his real life and family?

Now that Whitley has felt forced to fake Abe’s death by having Jerry Prentiss (Terrell Ransom Jr.) “witness” him drown, she’s had to sedate Abe.

Abe was starting to remember his real life and wasn’t buying what Whitley was selling anymore-especially after seeing his “son” in an episode of “Body and Soul”. He confronted her about seeing “Theo Carver” (Cameron Johnson) and knowing Jerry in the soap opera wasn’t him.

Whitley told him that “Theo” had quit the acting business and moved to South Africa after that appearance, and that “Jerry Prentiss” was his stage name. Abe wasn’t buying what she was selling and tried to get away, but she injected him with drugs to keep him compliant.

DOOL Spoilers: Abe Carver Is Drugged Up But Still Watching The Soap

Abe is kept drugged up, but still watching the soap on the tapes on the VCR since Whitley’s cable tv was shut off for nonpayment.

Whitley keeps him compliant and sitting in his wheelchair in front of that tv and under sedation-since she’s quit the hospital it begs the question how she’ll continue that.

But she had to do something to make sure she was with Abe all the time, regardless of how she would maintain her rent, let alone have access to the drugs. But pretty soon the drugs start to have an effect on Abe that no one could have predicted; he starts to have hallucinations even though the drugs aren’t hallucinogenic.

His hallucinations cause him to see things that may not be hallucinations after all, but flashbacks of his real life and real family.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Abe Carver Sees Himself In Body And Soul

Abe’s hallucinations start when he sees himself as a character in Body and Soul, interacting with a character who looks like the real Paulina. He tells her that he and she have a daughter together, and then his real memories of Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Paulina start to return.

According to DOOL spoilers, Lani and Abe have maintained their father and daughter relationship even though it was later revealed he wasn’t her birth father and Paulina is her real mother.

Abe continues to have hallucinations that seem to be more like flashbacks of real memories of his real life and his real family. Flashbacks are the first signs that someone’s amnesia is going away and they’re getting their memory back!
