Did Sister Wives Star Kody Brown Attend Gwendlyn’s Wedding?

Sister Wives fans found out that Gwendlyn Brown married Beatriz Queiroz as planned, on July 15. Plenty of photos started arriving and Kody Brown was nowhere to be seen. Neither was Robyn or her kids. People had expected they wouldn’t be there, and even Gwen suggested that it might make them feel uncomfortable. But did they actually attend? Read on to find out what went down.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Invited To Gwendlyn’s Wedding

Gwendlyn announced her engagement to fans and later shared that she was planning to marry her fiancé on July 15, 2023. The last time fans saw the TLC cast gathering for a wedding was when Logan Brown got married to Michelle Petty in late 2022. Remember, Robyn and Kody sat by themselves, far from the rest of his family. This weekend, lots of family members gathered to celebrate. Leon was there, and Logan, Hunter, Truely, David Woolley, and more.

Sister Wives cast members started to post photos, but Christine didn’t rush to steal her daughter’s thunder. Mykelti Padron was the most prolific, and her photos showed that Logan had a blast dancing with one of the babies. A nice big photo revealed no Kody or Robyn Brown. So, TLC fans assumed that he stayed away. Some people on social media claimed that everyone looked so happy because of Kody’s absence. But did he go along? New photos suggest that he was, in fact, there.

Christine Brown Shares Photos

A photo that showed Kody in the background was posted by Christine, and many people initially missed seeing him. When they did notice him, it looked like he sat there grumpily with his arms folded across his chest. Plus depending on what phone or computer people used, there was one of those scrolling arrows obscuring part of him. Fortunately, InTouch Weekly was able to screenshot it without the arrow, and in his arms, he held a baby: possibly, Maddie Brush’s little girl, or one of Mykelti’s twins.

Some Sister Wives fans thought how ironic it was that the photo of Kody Brown was shared by Christine. One of them wrote, “Christine is no fool. She intentionally included that photo with Kody in the background doting on his grandchild. Why? Because she’s classy, kind, and clearly over him.”

Another follower opined, “Lowkey surprised that Kody was there. Maybe he’s grown up some.”

Camera-Shy Kody?

Sister Wives fans know that Gwen’s dad loves being in front of a camera. However, these days, he shies away from being in photos. Usually, very few of his kids even bother to share his picture. Perhaps Christine leaked it with the nod from TLC for the forthcoming season. Mind you, it’s not even clear if the wedding will feature in the new season. What are your thoughts?
