Did Jeremy Clarkson Just Turn His Back On The Royal Family?

British Royal Family News suggests that the royal family might actually be losing some friends. In a surprise move, Jeremy Clarkson suggested that King Charles’ upcoming Coronation might actually be the last Coronation for the monarchy. This all comes after the British television personality was slammed for writing a rather nasty op-ed about Meghan Markle in his column for The Sun just last month. Even though Clarkson is supposedly close with royal family members like Camilla Parker Bowles, he decided to go off on the monarchy by suggesting that it will all die out by the time King Charles is done with his reign. That’s because the royal family has had to deal with too many scandals and controversies lately, including Megxit, Prince Andrew’s sex assault case, and of course, all of the dirty little details that came out of Prince Harry’s book, Spare.

In his new column for The Sun, he writes, “Whatever they come up with, though, it’d better be good. Because I have a sneaking feeling there won’t be another Coronation after this one. It’ll be the last.”

Clarkson also added, “For many years, there have been questions about the Royal Family. People have said it costs too much and that it’s stupid to have a hereditary head of state. And now, of course, those questions are getting louder. People are saying that thanks to Prince Andrew and Harry’s book, the whole royal thing is broken, that you could take it down to Jay Blade’s Repair Shop barn but the experts would be forced to conclude that all of the king’s horseman and all of the king’s men couldn’t possibly put it back together again.”
