After all, Alfonso recently mentioned during the SOD podcast that she had initially believed that her Salem return would entail about five episodes, but she and the show negotiated 15, which means it won’t be long before Bo and Hope leave once again.

Soap opera storylines can be tricky. They can move fast at times, but also slowly. Is there enough time for Bo and Hope to romantically reunite and for him to be deprogrammed of Megan Hathaway’s (Miranda Wilson) brainwashing before he exits again?

While Bo has memories, he’s not the same old Bo fans remember. With that said, he and Hope do have a love that surpasses any logic. They could easily run into each other again, where Bo could be fixed with a kiss from Hope, and the two could sail off into the sunset.

Still, during their SOD podcast, Alfonso did offer a tease that there could be a cliffhanger on the horizon for Bope. She states that their exit will be “adventurous”, “romantic”, “interesting”, and “unexpected”. Could Bo kidnap Hope? Could the ISA capture him and try to deprogram Mr. Brady off-screen? Could he cross a line between now and his exit where he may be imprisoned? Fans need to gear up for a splashing Bope exit. However, while it’ll be sad to see them leave, the good news is that they’ll likely be back at some point.
