Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has had a rough year when it comes to romance. First she was dumped by Xander Cook (Paul Tefler) and then Alex Kiriakis did the same thing. Luckily, Gwen still has her friendship with Leo Starke (Greg Rikaart) but that certainly won’t keep Gwen warm at night.

Luckily for Gwen, there’s another man about to arrive in Salem and it seems he’s going to have eyes for Gwen. But this man will certainly arrive with quite the reputation and that may cause Xander to give Gwen a second look.

Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) was first seem during Beyond Salem Season 1. He impersonated an ISA agent and romanced Billie Reed (Lisa Rinna). But secretly he was after the jewels that made up the Alamanian Peacock which could trigger the destruction of several cities when placed back on the Peacock. His plan was foiled and Dimitri was taken into custody. But he obviously got out of any criminal charges because most recently he was seen as the man holding Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) hostage on a fishing boat!

Chances are Dimitri won’t be charged in Kate’s kidnapping either once she is rescued. And that means that Dimitri may be heading to Salem because it seems he has a surprise familial connection to one of the main families in Salem. Dimitri is rumored to be the son of Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) which makes Dimitri another DiMera! Dimitri’s presence will certainly shake up the family, especially when it comes time to choose a new CEO for DiMera Enterprises.

But Dimitri will certainly be interested in more than just business once he finally arrives in Salem. Look for an immediate attraction between the newest DiMera and Gwen. It won’t be long before this couple hits the sheets. Xander won’t like it one bit one he hears that Gwen has found someone new. But is he really looking out for Gwen or will be jealous that Gwen has finally found someone just for her>?
