Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Will Gabi Hernandez Go Out In A Blaze Of Glory?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest some sad news for fans of Gabi Hernandez as the actress Camils Banus recently announced she was leaving the soap opera. While this won’t affect storylines until the fall as the daytime drama films about six months ahead of broadcast, this doesn’t mean that fans can’t speculate on how (and if) she’ll exit the canvas.

DOOL spoilers suggest that Stabi’s reunion might be short-lived if Banus is exiting soon. But can fans hope for a recast? Just because the actress is leaving Salem, doesn’t necessarily mean the character has to go, too. From Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) to Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller), Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain), and many others, including Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash); the daytime drama is never above recasting roles. In fact, there are very few soap opera roles out there currently that “cannot” be recast at this point. So, could fans simply get a different version of Gabi than they’ve been used to in the past?

DOOL Spoilers – No One Ever Really “Leaves” Salem, Right?

Then again, Gabi could exit storylines in a non-dramatic type of way. Maybe she simply wants to head to New Zealand to visit with WilSon and Ari Horton (Lane Rosa), only to realize just how much she misses her daughter and chooses to stay. There’s also the chance she could decide to move to Europe to pursue a career dream or something along those lines.

Still, this is the land of Salem, and Gabi’s always been an overdramatic character. Does she get shot, as Stefan did when he first “died” on the soap? With Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) returning, perhaps she’s the one who is at the helm of Ms. Hernandez’s death. Then again, maybe Gabi dies trying to save Stefan and dies in the process. The opportunities for a massive “blaze of glory” exit, or limitless.
