Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint that Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) may get a second chance at love. After all, the reason they broke up was because Steph couldn’t get over the fact that Alex turned off her phone just before she *thought* her mom passed away. This meant no final goodbye; however, now that Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) is back in the land of the living, could these two exes reunite?

Days spoilers for the week of May 1st state that Alex will end things with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). They certainly had a ton of chemistry in the bedroom, but it’s clear that Gweny still has feelings for Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Alex may still have feelings for Stephanie.

On the other hand, Alex’s break up with Gwen may have to do with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). The Sweet Bits baker will be looking for revenge against Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) and will recruit her friend to help in the days ahead. Could he try and seduce Sloan for a setup? Hard to say. He may also just want to break up with Gwen because he isn’t “feeling it” anymore, but either way, he’ll be a single pringle in Salem again, soon.

DOOL Spoilers: Mom & Daughter Catch Up, Kayla Johnson Gives Her 2 Cents

Days spoilers for the week of May 1st also imply that Alex will bump into Steph and Kayla and apologize once again for what he did. Kayla will likely accept it, but this may prompt a “talk” between mom and daughter. After all, they probably haven’t had much time to truly catch up since everything that’s happened. Could Kayla convince Stephanie to give Alex another shot? Things aren’t going “wrong” in Stephanie’s relationship with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), but she really did rush things with that romance. One moment, Ms. Johnson was with Kiriakis, then next, Mr. DiMera. Will Kayla offer a path for a Stex romantic reunion?
