Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint at a massive comeback to Salem in August. News broke recently that Philip Kiriakis is set to return to Salem this August, and this time around, actor John-Paul Lavoisier will reprise the role.

What will bring Philip back to the little town, but more importantly, who will he romance when he returns?

Days Spoilers: Will He Rekindle A Romance With Someone From The Past?

DOOL previews for the week of July 10th reveal that Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will tell Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) that her son is still alive, so it’s clear that the show is starting to pave the way for Philip’s return.

With that being said, will he rekindle a romance with a lady from his past? Both women he’s had strong connections with are currently in Salem, and both are in wonky relationships.

When he last left the little town, his jealousy around Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) “connection” with gal pal Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) had him trying to frame his nephew for murder.

Lane is currently with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), but it also looks like Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) pregnant secret is about to blow up, so who knows how long Chlander will last.

Then, Philip has always had a thing for Belle Brady (Martha Madison), and while she’s married to Shawn-Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) that marriage is hanging by a string thanks to his drinking.

Philip has a lot to sort out in Salem, so perhaps he won’t dive into a romance right away. His reason for returning could stem from Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aston) exit storyline, as the actor passed late last year, and it’s time for the show to address this.

Kate’s son may be too wrapped up in his father’s death to think of love, but perhaps a new lady love will come into his life, once things settle down.

Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will likely find herself suddenly single soon once she learns the truth about her fiancé and BFF. While Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) is currently with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) how long will they be a “thing” considering the scheme she just pulled with the DNA test?
