Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) is currently unaware that his own sister is out to kill him. Right now, Stefan is planning to celebrate his engagement to Gabi Hernandez (Camilla Banus). His newfound sister Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) offered to throw the young lovers an engagement party. But neither Gabi not Stefan have any idea that Megan plans to have Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) kill Stefan during the festivities. Harris will be brainwashed by Megan and won’t likely be in his right mind. Nevertheless, it seems likely that it won’t be Stefan who dies that day.

Gabi and Stefan were married four years ago. But not long after they married, Stefan was believed to have died from a gunshot wound. Gabi believed Stefan dead all that time until he was finally revived several months ago. It took some time but Stefan and Gabi were finally reunited and it seemed like nothing would get in the way of their love.

Although Gabi and Stefan divorced soon after he was revived, their love never really died. Unfortunately, Megan thinks there are at least one too many DiMera’s to share the family wealth, so to that end she planned to brainwash Harris into killing Stefan. But things will likely take a dramatic turn.

Not willing to watch her true love die in front of her all over again, it may be Gabi who saves Stefan this time. Chances are she will step in front of the bullet meant for Stefan. Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) is the district attorney of Salem. She’s been quite frustrated in her position up until now because so many Salem resident have managed to make deals that keep them out of prison. But look for her to promise justice for Stefan.

Trask may not have had much use for Gabi, but she has always been quite fond of Stefan. She even pretended to be his lover when he and Gabi had to hide their reconciliation. Trask isn’t Gabi, but she may be the only person who can help bring Stefan back to himself after he loses Gabi!
