Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) could be headed for another split. The couple, affectionally known as “Stayla”, has enjoyed wedded bliss ever since Kayla’s return from Megan Hathaway DiMera’s (Miranda Wilson) lab experiment. However, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) could divide “Stayla.”

DOOL spoilers reveal that Tamara Braun is back as Ava Vitali. The actress spoke with Soap Opera Digest magazine about Ava coming back to Salem. Although Braun admitted she couldn’t spoil too much, the actress did say that she has some scenes coming up with Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols). Braun also said that Ava gets to mix it up with some characters from her past as well as some new ones.

Over with Kayla, the good doctor will be working on trying to help Abe. Kayla and Abe have known each other for years. So, it makes perfect sense that Kayla would try to help Abe with his memories. At the same time, there are some fans who feel confident that Kayla and Abe might develop romantic feelings for one another.

Abe and Kayla are both considered “good” characters. So, both are long overdue to create some conflict or make bad choices. As long as both characters don’t do anything too evil and can be redeemed in a reasonable amount of time.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that if Kayla and Abe form a romantic relationship, what does that mean for Steve? Well, considering Braun confirmed scenes between Ava and Steve, could the dynamic have an unexpected shift?

Fans watched for years as Ava was obsessed with Steve. Ava eventually earned redemption and got over her obsession. Then, Steve and Ava started to form a platonic friendship. The friendship wasn’t like others… this one has lots of boundaries and is a bit distance. At the same time, Ava and Steve have both given each other advice during the past few years.
