Sloan hasn’t made her need for revenge against Paulina and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) a secret, but the actions against Ms. Price’s office don’t seem like something Ms. Petersen would do. In addition, Paulina found a cryptic note this week in her office, with cutout letters stating that things weren’t “over”. If this was Sloan, she’d make her intentions known, as she has in the past. It’s clear that fans have a major mystery on their hands.

While there could be many people who have a hate-on for Paulina, it’s hard for viewers not to speculate that the person behind this new vendetta against Ms. Price is still linked to Sloan in some fashion.

DOOL Spoilers – Sloan’s Mother Is Very Much Alive, And Lurking In The Shadows

In the land of daytime drama, no one is ever “dead”. After all, if Days was able to bring back Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) then they can concoct a storyline that brings an unknown character, back to life. Who would have as much hate for Paulina as Sloan does? Her mom! Sloan’s mother could’ve faked her own death to “punish” Ms. Petersen’s father for his affair with Chanel, while also hoping to “set” Ms. Dupree up. When everything went awry, in frustration, she may be returning to seek the justice that both Paulina and Chanel never faced.

She could remain “hidden” for a while, taunting Ms. Price to the point of insanity, only to reveal herself once Paulina hits her breaking point. As she’s unknown to most in the land of Salem, Sloan’s mom could also seek revenge in the form of kidnapping Paulina, Chanel, or even Abe Carver (James Reynold). The opportunities to destroy Ms. Price and the ones she loves are endless.
